Warehouse District

Salt Lake’s Warehouse District, located just west of downtown is identifiable by several unique warehouses transformed in recent years to house modern lofts, eateries, art galleries, and specialty stores. Dakota Lofts, Warehouse District Lofts, Peirpont Lofts, Westgate Lofts, Patrick Lofts, and Broadway Lofts are all historic landmark buildings with early beginnings ranging from a chocolate factory to a rubber stamp company. In the late 1990s developers began to convert these factories and warehouses into condos and lofts, revitalizing Salt Lake’s Warehouse District.

Pioneer Park hosts many events which have helped shape the vibrant personality of the Warehouse District. From the Downtown Farmer’s Market to the Twilight Concert Series, the park attracts thousands of visitors. Bordering the park are several independent shops and restaurants that have become Salt Lake mainstays. Enjoy lunch at Tony Caputo’s Deli, dinner at Cucina Toscana, followed by a locally-brewed beer at Squatter’s — all within walking distance of your home.
